Municipal Funding Solutions LLC is a specialist in assisting municipalities and other political subdivisions to obtain the best financing available. At MFS we don’t just provide an answer, we provide a SOLUTION!

Our staff has over 50 years in specialized finance experience. We have helped customers obtain over One Billion Dollars in both tax advantaged and taxable financing. We use this expertise to assist you in making the optimal decision for your government entity which can include State, County, Municipal Governments and their Agencies (including but not limited to, Fire Districts, Law Enforcement, EMS, Water and Port Authorities, State Universities and Community Colleges).

We help you bridge the gap between annual appropriations (the budget) and the need to acquire capital equipment now. Municipal leasing provides a specialized tax –advantaged means to finance the purchase of assets today and pay for them over a period of 3 to 15 years without having to issue a Bond. We can help you acquire equipment from fire trucks to computer equipment to 911 systems and everything in between. You choose the vendor and the equipment. Once you have taken delivery and are satisfied, we pay the vendor directly. Lease repayment can be on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. Through the use of a lease purchase agreement you own the equipment free and clear. No final negotiation. No surprises.

For vendors who work with municipalities we can create programs to aid your sales process by providing fast approvals, competitive pricing and hassle free paperwork and fast payment. Our online application allows you to move the decision making process quickly to closure saving valuable time and leaving your customers with a “gee that was easy” experience!

Dawn Beckerman

Dawn Beckerman has a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and a MBA from DePaul University.

Dawn started her career in Commercial Lending at LaSalle National Bank in Chicago where she grew and managed a diverse portfolio of loans to middle market Companies. She later accepted a position Forsythe Technology, a technology distributor and leasing company where she underwrote and financed over $1 Billion in leases.

In 2009 Dawn accepted the role of President of Municipal Funding Solutions. Her goal is to bring the most efficient financing programs to the Municipal Market while becoming an advocate for its customers within the Financial Community.

Dawn’s extensive background in Credit, Banking and Leasing uniquely qualify her to give Municipal Funding Solutions’ customers the highest degree of professional care and attention they expect.

Bob Wosneski

Bob Wosneski

Bob Wosneski has more than twenty five years experience in the Municipal Lease Finance Industry.

Bob was formerly EVP of Leasemark, Inc., a boutique leasing company, where he worked with Political Subdivisions to finance Fire Trucks, Software, Municipal Buildings and everything in between.

Bob later founded Focus Capital a provider of underwriting, management, and syndication services to Finance Companies and Banks.

In the early 1990s, as Executive Vice President of Marquette Bank, he managed and grew a portfolio of municipal leases and loans valued in excess of one billion dollars.

In 2008 he founded Municipal Funding Solutions. The mission of this organization is to be an advocate for municipalities. Our motto “Not just an answer a Solution” states fully our desire to provide the most efficient way possible for our customers to fulfill their needs through the utilization of our Financing programs.
